What therapy services do you offer?

I offer weekly 45-minute individual therapy.

Do you take insurance?

I am out-of-network for all insurance plans. Typically, your out-of-network benefits will cover a portion of your cost.

Every month, I will provide you a superbill to submit to insurance. You will also receive a Good Faith Estimate annually as part of the 2022 No Surprises Act.

Are there any services that aid clients with reimbursement?

Mentaya and Thrizer both offer 3rd party support in navigating out-of-network benefits and/or reimbursement.

Do you offer biweekly or less frequent therapy?

I only offer weekly individual therapy. This is to ensure the quality care that goes into what happens in your everyday life.

Historically, clients have not found less frequent therapy to be more helpful, and often spend more time catching the therapist up rather than engaging in therapeutic work.

Do you prescribe medication?

I do not prescribe medication. However, if I feel medication is a good fit for you in addition to therapy, I will discuss the possibility of an integrative approach with you in session and provide you with referrals.

For some, medication can be a great add-on to therapy by bringing you back to your baseline, and feeling more prepared to process your feelings.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

I currently offer virtual sessions, and will be offering in-person sessions in the near future.

Is therapy confidential?

Therapy is confidential, with a few exceptions where I am legally mandated to break confidentiality:

-Imminent harm to yourself or someone else

-Legal mandate (e.g., subpoena)

-Suspected abuse toward a child or elder

If confidentiality has to be broken, I will inform you verbally in session, and every step taken from there is focused on maintaining safety.

What forms of payment do you take?

I accept all major credit cards, Zelle, and Venmo.
